Is this "OUR" America ?

Is this OUR America?

America is truly a changing, evolving society.  From liberals and progressives, to moderates, conseravatives and tea-partiers, the society in which we live is as vibrant and as changeable as it has possibly ever been.

However, some disturbing aspects of this transition come to mind. Consider.... 

Is this still  OUR  America??  Where...

• We are told how much salt can be put on our food?  See this....
• There are no HAPPY MEAL TOYS in those ever-present mainstay in the fast-food industry?  See this....
• We are having our "junk" touched at the airport?  See this....
• We almost have governement-run healthcare, complete with death panels?  Yes, they are in the bill.  Even the New York Times agrees.  See this....
• The government rents out the ENTIRE Taj Mahal hotel in India for the President to use?  OK...that is hard to believe, but apparently true.  See this....
• Web sites such as GOOGLE being sued for giving bad “driving directions”?  Yes, only in the land of way-too-many-lawyers.  See this....
• As Vice President, Al Gore, can almost single-handedly "invent" the so-called GREEN industry, furiously promoting the bogus concept of "global warming", and then, after leaving office, make millions of dollars off it, all while living in a mansion that uses more electricity than many small cities?     See this...

This, ladies and gentlemen, is not the America that our founders envisioned in their "great experiment"!

We must move back to the basics in America, where

• Hard work is rewarded, not apathy and indifference.
• Government handouts are the EXCEPTION and not the RULE
• We have as many people CONTRIBUTING to the government as there are people LIVING off the government.

The government "teat" has run dry, folks, and it's about time that all elected officials do something about it.
